In 2017 Saint-Gobain in Scotland will sponsor the Royal Incorporation of Architects In Scotland (RIAS) Emerging Architect Award for the second year running 

A partnership to highlight the importance of healthy buildings

Saint-Gobain in Scotland is proud to sponsor the Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland (RIAS) Emerging Architect Award for the second year running.

The award is open to project architects of RIAS Award submissions under the age of 40, with all types of architectural developments eligible for entry. Entries will be judged by leading industry experts, with partiSarah Jane Storrie, winner of the 2016 RIAS/Saint-Gobain Emerging Architect Awardcular attention paid to the sustainability of projects in addition to health and wellbeing considerations of the entries.

Stuart McKill, Sustainable Habitat Leader for Scotland, said "It’s great to see sustainability, along with health and wellbeing, as key judging criteria for this award. We encourage sustainable construction through the development of innovative products and solutions that contribute to energy efficient, comfortable and healthy environments, particularly through the  Multi Comfort building concept and Great Places solutions.
